I see SELWG is on this year.
Any among you planning to attend?
Is there going to be an AoA demo game? If so I would like to offer 'Sahyun' fortress as a possible focal point/objective to fight over (provided someone could get it there and back) and put up with a novice AoA gamer as well!

have you poked the guys at the other forum about selweg ?
as t errain w arehouse own a.o.a now, if anyone is going there to promote and sell the game it will be them .
for sure, the addition of your outstanding scenery will be a big draw to their table if they are doing it

I agree. Get in contact with Steve from terrain warehouse. He might be interested, especially considering the quality of your terrain.

Where is Selwg held anyway?

SELWG is at Crystal Palace Sports Centre (London) 18th October.
I'll be there - I'm a member of SELWG, and with my birthday just beforehand I might actually have a couple of spare pounds to spend Very Happy

Sorry, been away camping near Hastings so...... I've got no idea how much the entrance will be - I'll ask tomorrow and see if any decision's been made.
Logistically - get to Crystal Palace train station and walk about 10 minutes, or you could drive, iirc there was plenty of parking, but I can't remember if it was free or not.

Nice to see Selwyg back on the circuit after a hiccup with asbestos in the building holding up proceedings for waaaay too long.
Kes, I'm a south London warlord, good to make your acquaintance.

Sukhe, lets get back on track for doing something with your awesome terrain for 'Salute' next year.
It could be a terrain table winner.

Nice to meet you to, Mr Toad (or can I call you Rocket). I'm working on the bring and buy Sunday morning, and showing the kids around in the afternoon. Looks like there'll be plenty for them to see.

Sukhe - I agree, get your terrain up to Excel with a nice demo/participation game - it'd be great Very Happy

My vehicle blew up last week or I would definitely be at Selwyg this weekend, sadly logistics are going to make that a little bit too hard.
Ah well... they will have a good one without me.
The Selwygers run the best bring and buy in all of the UK conventions, bar none, not even the Salute B+B which is also run by the Selwygers.

I'm odds on for a big effort at Salute next year if you are up to it Sukhe?
There's life in the game system yet, even if it isn't being breathed into it by TW.

Went to Selwyg, met up with elvenblade and andy and saw a few familiar faces. finally got some highlanders for the naploeonics that are bubbling at London Gamers and a few other nice things.
my favorite stall was this lot

got some nice 40k type scenery and just had to buy a steamtank , gawd knows what im going to do with it though lol maybe it can support my highlanders Laughing
Selwyg was pretty cool, have to say, Sukhes' castles wouldve won the best table by a country mile. T.w. were there. but very low key i think, just the regular stall
