Hopefully the walls are at least high enough to make even Battleforge's giants think twice!

I'd be suprised if a giant could think even once...

This is why I love him so!

I'll see if I can get those Marrians down then, but it won't be the end of the world for me if I don't get my mini's in.

Bugger, minor hiccup in my plans, I could only find one of my hobbit holes so I may have to go back to the lock up on the other side of London to have another look for the hobbit holes before heading back to east London to the stacked van before heading into Excel, I need those extra hobbit holes. Grrrrrrrr... Evil or Very Mad

Nearly off to the airport!!! Didn't think I'd be saying that a few days ago...
Anyway see you all on saturday nice and early - RT have your phone switched on (and answer it!), don't feel like having to explain to some ExCel security mook that I'm "with the mouthy Kiwi" for half an hour...
Also I have added 10 Handgunners to my list - but I have it all nicely printed with stat lines etc so it looks good. Also brings me up to 50/50 Elite/R&F so a bit more balanced...

Woohoo!
The last lick of paint went on the Haradrim this lunchtime. Just a mass varnishing session to go at home (must remember not to inhale!)...
All set for the morrow!

Just wanted to say good luck to you guys Smile Wish I wasn't 6 time zones away from London. I'd love to see what you've done in person. There better be some good pics posted when it's all done.

... up at 5-15am and now finally back home to eat at 22;00 hours.
A long day with travelling at the beginning and end, but Oh My God it was worth every minute of it.
Sooooo Good to be able to put on a table that BIG, that special and that full of models.
18 feet long and six feet wide, it is the biggest single game I've ever piut on and thank you , a really really big thank you to everyone involved in helping to put it on.
Just awesome.

Table looked very impressive with some lovely models on it To be honest it was perhaps a little crowded but there was so much to show off. Sukhes castle got lots of interest as did bf's monstrous giants and hobbits. Hopefully he sold a few or will do off the back of this.
Whenever I wandered past or was talking to Shelfie and the guys there were lots of photos being taken. I don't know if there was much AoA specific interest but even if not it got the name back in peoples minds.

The TW table had some lovely custom scenary too. Not on the same scale but still eye catching. Amusingly one of the guys asked if I had heard of AoA or played it. He was very helpful though.

Fantasy was well represented this year with a big table from Frothers that looked very good too and the Mantic games figures seemed to about quite a bit.

My son Josh played Infinity again (as last year) and won his demo game. The Corvus Belli figs are some of the very best but also some of the most expensive. Fortunatley you don't need many to play the game. I've got eh quick start rule downloaded and really musy get round to reading them although I think 5150 is still my sci fi game of choice.

Josh also became an Ace in the Battle of Brittain game, piloting a flight of Spitfires defending Portsmouth from a German bombing raid. This won him a 1/300 model spitfire.

All in all a good day and good to see some of the guys from here again.
